WWB Foundation, founded in Cali, Colombia, began its work in the ‘80s. Its main objective from the beginning was to facilitate access to microcredits and train entrepreneurs and businesspeople from vulnerable sectors in the city. Its main focus was on the women entrepreneurs who did not have access to financial services. In the year 2011, WWB Bank was created with the intention to offer financial products and services to these segments ofthe population besides microcredit so the Foundation could dedicate itself to social projects that comprehensively empower entrepreneurs.
